Inge Martin was a consultant to the University of Toronto Disability Services for almost 10 years providing support and direction to students with sensory, physical and psychiatric disabilities. She worked closely with the learning disabilities specialist to ensure that students with multiple disabilities were accommodated.

Monica Ackermann worked as the Adaptive Equipment Coordinator at University of Toronto for 5 years.

AVTA regularly consults to Ontario Colleges and University students and Special Needs offices to determine computer and assistive technology recommendations for funding by the OSAP Bursary for Students With Disabilities (BSWD).
